DMS Football
Coaches: Ryan Ponder
The DMS football team competes against other teams in the district and, with enough wins in the regular season, continues on to the playoffs . Practice is every afternoon starting a few weeks before and continuing throughout football season.
DMS Cheer

Cheerleaders perform at football games, basketball games, the Christmas parade, and other events throughout the year. Tryouts are held in the spring for the following year. Students interested in trying out will receive detailed information regarding requirements for cheerleading. The cheerleaders represent our school in a very visible way and are expected to obey all the regulations and directives of the cheerleader organization and sponsors.

The dance team performs at football games, basketball games, the Christmas parade, and other events throughout the school year. Tryouts are held in the spring for the following year. The Eaglettes represent our school in a very visible way and are expected to obey all the regulations and directives of the dance team organization and sponsors.
DMS Volleyball

The volleyball team competes against the other middle school parish teams from August to November, and games are played on Tuesdays. Interest in volleyball in our parish has grown substantially in the last 10 years and is competitive. Tryouts are usually two days during the first week of school.
DMS Girls' Basketball

The DMS girls' basketball team competes against other teams in the district and, with enough wins in the regular season, continues on to the playoffs . During basketball season, practice is held each afternoon with the exception of game days.
DMS Boys' Basketball

DMS Girls' Track

Track tryouts are usually the 3rd week in January and are announced in class and on google classrooms. Our practices are after school, Monday-Thursdays for 6 weeks. We compete in 4 district meets.
DMS Boys' Track
Coach: ryan Ponder and tyler moore
During track season, the team competes each afternoon except on days that they attend a meet. They compete in at least 4 district meets during the season.
DMS Girls' Soccer

The Dutchtown Middle Girls' Soccer Team were district champs in 2021 and will soon be back on the field defending their title!
