PBIS

Positive Behavior Intervention Support

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based three-tiered framework to improve and integrate all of the data, systems, and practices affecting student outcomes every day. PBIS creates schools where all students succeed.

At Dutchtown Middle School, the PBIS Rewards app system is used to monitor and track student behavior and interventions.  Students  earn virtual Dutchtown Dollars and are able to redeem their dollars to participate in school-wide events, monthly raffles and shop in school or teacher stores.  Once a month, we have PBIS Fridays where students and teachers can win raffles prizes and homerooms participate in fun activities.  Thanks to our local school sponsors who provide many of the raffles items.
